Airport/Location: Sawyer International Airport – Marquette, Michigan

Marquette County, Sawyer International Airport (Sponsor)intends to select a consultant to assist in airport development projects. Interested consulting firms are requested to submit three (3) copies of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) no more than thirty (30) pages in length, not including cover letter, table of contents, and section dividers if used to Mr. Duane DuRay, Sawyer International Airport Manager, 125 G Avenue, Gwinn, MI 49841 no later than 3:00pm on January 17, 2019. The SOQ should demonstrate the consultant’s interest in providing airport planning, architectural/engineering design, and construction administration services focused on the Sponsor’s current Five-Year Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP). SECURITY IDENTIFICATION DISPLAY AREA (SIDA) BADGE TRAINING

All airport employees and those requiring access inside the Secure Identification Display Area of Sawyer International Airport must have a SIDA badge to access the secure areas, such as baggage loading areas, taxiways, runways and boarding gates, T-hangars, etc. as required by  the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Classes will consist of SIDA specific information and Non-Movement training and are currently held every Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. (edt).  Please bring two forms of identification with you to your scheduled class.
